Centerpiece Pro Cosmetic & Display Tolerance Policy
Centerpiece Pro uses a high-resolution display and high-clarity transparent polycarbonate components. Due to the advanced materials and manufacturing processes involved, minor cosmetic and display variations may occur and are considered within normal tolerance.

Cosmetic evaluation is performed under normal lighting conditions at standard viewing distance (approximately arm’s length).

A. Pixel Policy (Display)

Due to the nature of high-density displays, a small number of pixel anomalies may occur.

Within 14 days of delivery, a visible bright (always-on) or dark (always-off) pixel located within the primary viewing area and clearly noticeable during normal use may qualify for exchange. The primary viewing area refers to the central field of view during typical keyboard use, excluding the edges or corner regions.

After 14 days, the display is eligible for warranty replacement only if one of the following conditions is met:

  • 3 or more bright pixels

  • 3 or more dark pixels

  • 6 or more subpixel defects

  • 2 adjacent bright or dark pixels

  • 3 adjacent defective subpixels

Pixel anomalies visible only under magnification, macro photography, or extreme inspection conditions are considered within tolerance.

B. Transparent Polycarbonate – Surface Characteristics

The Centerpiece Pro grid and display housing are made from high-clarity injection-molded polycarbonate.

Transparent polycarbonate is one of the most cosmetically unforgiving materials used in consumer hardware. Because of its optical clarity and high-gloss finish, very fine surface variations may be visible under certain lighting conditions.

The following are considered normal and are not classified as defects:

  • Fine hairline scratches under 0.3mm

  • Light surface haze or micro-swirl marks

  • Minor fingernail-level surface abrasion

  • Cosmetic variations visible only under angled lighting or flash

  • Surface wear that develops over time through normal use

Deep gouges, cracks, or structural damage present upon unboxing may qualify for review.

C. Transparent Polycarbonate – Internal Molding Characteristics

Due to the nature of injection molding high-clarity materials, faint internal artifacts may occasionally be present.

The following are considered normal manufacturing characteristics:

  • Very small internal micro-bubbles

  • Faint flow lines

  • Knit lines

  • Minor internal inclusions

  • Subtle optical variations near edges or transition zones

These characteristics do not impact structural integrity, performance, or longevity.

Large visible voids, structural cracking, or significant optical distortion at normal viewing distance may qualify for review.
