Horizon is the only fabric pad to have a fully seamless edge. Our proprietary lamination process envelopes the glass core with our technical fabric so you never feel anything get in the way of your aim.
Even the exposed glass corners are raised to seamlessly match the fabric.
Engineered Fabric from Toray Japan
We partnered with the inventors of polyester to create a technical fabric designed to bring gamers the ultimate aiming surface. A surface that not only feels comfortable and performs well, but does so through heavy use without changing consistency from wear.
Designed with exacting parameters to have; equal coefficient of friction across both x and y axis, control in the static friction for good stopping power, balance in the dynamic friction for effortless glide, and optimal SQUAL values on Finalmouse ULX sensor implementations.
Designed for competition, and built to last
The feeling of aiming on a Horizon pad for the first time is extraordinary... but more importantly, we wanted to make sure that experience lasted past the first day.
Unlike standard fabric pads with rubber/poron bases, Horizon doesn't change consistency from normal environmental conditions. It will always be perfectly hard, perfectly flat, and resist humidity.
And thanks to the seamless enveloping design (which doesn't require stitched or unstitched edges), Horizon resists fraying as well.
All this leads us to be able to offer a 4 year limited warranty on Horizon.
Why a glass core?
Every design element in Horizon is rooted in function over form.
Glass was used because other than metal it is the only material stiff enough to provide a perfectly rigid core for this large a surface. Metal is unusable since it reflects RF and would negatively impact wireless mouse signals.
Even the exposed glass corners are rooted in function. A necessity to be able to take Horizon through its meticulous lamination processes.
